DOES KELLERMAN’S ENFORCE A DRESS CODE?
Dressing up is HIGHLY encouraged. Dresses, cardigans, summer shirts and comfy shoes for dancing are advised.
WHAT CAN I DO AT KELLERMAN’S?
There’s no shortage of fun: resort guests can participate in dance lessons, a sporting game or creative onsite pursuit. There’s even rumour of a Talent Show taking place so be sure to dust off those tap shoes!
BUT AREN’T WE WATCHING A FILM?
Correct! Grab your popcorn as the sun sets. At 8.30pm the big screen will come alight with one of the most beloved romantic movies of all time, screening under the stars.
WHAT IS KELLERMAN’S POLICY ON PHONES AND CAMERAS?
Wishing you a truly unforgettable vacation, Between the hours of 5pm – 8.15pm, Kellerman’s is a technology-free resort for maximum relaxation. We encourage visitors to embrace the time away from their screens and soak up their surrounds. It is a rare luxury. Once the movie begins, you are welcome to un-bag and use your phone as you wish.
Once you enter through the Kellerman’s gates, phones (and digital recording devices) will be placed into a pouch which visitors will keep on them. If you need to use your phone, you will need to make your way to the dedicated “PHONE ZONE” near entry. Please note that there is a $1 re-sealing fee (bags can be re-sealed once) and a $2 fee for a new bag. All money collected from re-sealing and re-bagging will be donated to The Patrick Swayze Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
35mm film cameras, polaroids and disposable cameras (which you can buy at the kellerman’s gift shop) are all allowed into the event. Apple watches and other tech watches are allowed if you need to stay in touch with someone.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Immersive Cinema, being an outdoor event, is subject to the elements. We will continue to dance through most weather conditions, including rain. A cancellation will only occur if the weather conditions present a danger to patrons or staff. All attendees must accept the prospect of unsatisfactory weather. All tickets will be non-refundable. But if a show is cancelled, your tickets will be transferable to another night.
So, for the love of the Pachenga we encourage you to not only dress-up, but dress smart. Bring something to keep you warm and dry, in case it’s required. Plastic ponchos, blankets and waterproof picnic blankets are always a safe option.
